There were more Th17 cells in CRS with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) patients than in CRSsNP patients, and that Th17 cells could induce tissue damage by the production of IL‐17 and IL‐22, thus promoting the occurrence and development of CRSwNP.18, 19. This evidence concerns the gene IL17A and chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps.
