After predicting angiogenesis-related mRNAs with a strong correlation with MEG3 through the LinkedOmics website, we found that VASH1 had the strongest positive correlation with MEG3 (Spearman correlation = 0.31, P = 5.2e−11) (Fig. 5A–F), and the expression level of VASH1 decreased in ovarian cancer compared to normal tissue (Fig. 5G). This evidence concerns the gene MEG3 and ovarian carcinoma.
