HSF1 and neoplasm: Histochemical analysis of tumor slices with use of anti-HSF1Ser326 antibodies showed (1) that tumors from the ‘CL-43’ or ‘Comb’ groups had significantly lower HSF1 levels, as expected (Fig. 2C), and (2) cells with high HSF1Ser326 levels were not distributed around the whole tumor volume but formed islets in the ‘Contr’ and ‘Eto’ groups (Fig. 2C).
