When EGFR-tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI)-treated EGFR-mutant cells were cultured in vitro with anti-CD24 antibodies, monocyte-derived macrophages promoted antibody-dependent cell phagocytosis (ADCP), indicating that CD24 may be a therapeutic target for EGFR-mutant lung cancer. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and lung cancer.
