The inhibitory effects of MEG3 on cancer progression have been reported in several other reports concerning breast cancer (e.g. [37, 38, 39, 40, 41]) and other cancers such as squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, and lung, gastric, hepatocellular and colorectal carcinomas (see [34, 42]). Here, MEG3 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
