In the Cox proportional hazard regression analysis, the presence of vessel invasion (hazard ratio (HR), 1.727; 95% confidence interval (CI), 1.258–2.371; p = 0.001), extrahepatic metastasis (HR, 1.401; 95% CI, 1.028–1.908; p = 0.033), and AFP level > 200 ng/mL (HR, 1.559; 95% CI, 1.105–2.201; p = 0.012) were independent tumor-related risk factors for OS.
