Therefore, taking into account the fact that both HNSCC as well as surgical and supplementary treatment trigger the catabolic–anabolic imbalance [9], as well as the significance of ghrelin, irisin, and titin in the control of metabolism, in further stages of our studies we have decided to evaluate their expression profile on three levels of genetic information flow, i.e., methylation of DNA, mRNA, and protein.
