The association of either PH-Akt or PH-Etk/Bmx with the PAR2-PH binding motif in ovarian cancer cells provides a mechanistic rationale for the potent inhibitory effect observed by Pc(4-4), our lead cyclic peptide, toward PAR2-PH binding domain and in ovarian cancer growth dissemination. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and ovarian carcinoma.
