Multivariate regression analysis adjusting for multiple ischemic stroke risk factors showed that the ApoB/ApoA1 ratio had a higher predictive value for ischemic stroke (OR: 2.33, 95% CI 1.80–3.00) than the non-HDL-C/HDL-C ratio (OR: 1.47, 95% CI 1.17–1.86) (18).
