We demonstrate that activated CD8+ T cells are significantly increased in obese mouse models of NASH using low density lipoprotein receptor knockout mice (LDLRKO) on western diet (WD) (Supplementary Figures 2A, B) and Taconic mice on amylin diet (Tac NASH) (Supplementary Figures 2C, D). Here, LDLR is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
