AR and neoplasm: In one study that evaluated the change in AR from primary to residual tumour after NAC, in 71 cases of localised TNBC, the authors found that AR loss was associated with a favourable prognosis, notably in terms of 5-year distant free survival rate (61.6%, 95% CI 44.26–79.14) vs. 25% (95% CI 3.94–87.21) (p = 0.01) in the groups with vs. without AR loss, respectively (54).
