RHO and chronic kidney disease: FOLR2+ resident macrophages showed activation of RHO-GTPase pathway, regulation of protein catabolic process, cytokine production and regulation of proteolysis, potentially corresponding to a scavenging-macrophage phenotype, while FOLR2+ CKD macrophages showed an enrichment in the cellular response to stress, inflammatory response and chemotaxis, corresponding to a more inflammatory phenotype (Table S4).
