KEAP1 and rheumatoid arthritis: Proteins between Keap1 and Nrf2 can interact to affect oxidative‐antioxidant mechanisms, and when this interaction is inhibited, Nrf2 cannot be degraded, Keap1 is inhibited, and cytoplasmic Nrf2 concentrations increase and are transferred to the nucleus that accelerates the transcription of antioxidant‐related genes,6 so this article focuses on the upstream regulators of this pathway in RA.
