Analysis of thyroid hormones revealed that TSH levels were significantly lower in malaria cases compared with control group (3.43 ± 1.25 vs. 3.84 ± 1.34, p = 0.035) while elevated levels of fT3 were observed in malaria cases (5.85 ± 1.79 vs. 3.89 ± 1.19, p < 0.001). Here, TG is linked to malaria.
