OCLN and osteoporosis: IHC results (Figure 5b–e) revealed that the expression of tight junction component proteins (including occludin and ZO‐1) in the intestine of mice in PBS group decreased (p < .001), while the regular and quantitative gavage of Rothia improved that in Rothia group (p < .05), suggesting that the gavage of Rothia could contribute to repairing the injured intestinal mucosal barrier in mice with OVX‐induced osteoporosis and optimizing the intestinal permeability.
