CD4 and HIV infectious disease: The MMhigh phenotype of CD4+T cells could not be attributed to disordered CD4+T cell differentiation status, as similar levels of MM were found in CD45RA+CCR7+, CD45RA–CCR7+, and CD45RA–CCR7– in CD4+T cells from UNT, indicating that this mitochondrial parameter was independent of the disordered differentiation status often present in HIV infection.
