Several studies have demonstrated that lncRNA-cancer susceptibility 2 (CASC2) acts as a tumor-suppressive lncRNA in GC (Li et al. 2016; Li et al. 2019; Zhou et al. 2017), but whether lncRNA-CASC2 can mediate ferroptosis in GC remains unknown, and the specific mechanisms are still largely to be defined.
