This result showed that in the presence of MG132 but not CHX, FTO and ALKBH5 coinduced the protein expression of ARHGAP35 in NPC cells (Fig. 5E–J), suggesting that m6A modification might affect the protein translation rather than the stability or posttranslational modification of ARHGAP35. This evidence concerns the gene ALKBH5 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
