CTBP2 and glioblastoma: Previous reports revealed that Zbtb18 interacts with CtBP2 (C-Terminal Binding Protein 2) gene to promote glioblastoma malignancy.23 Recent studies also showed that Zbtb18 repressed transcriptional programs closely linked to non-neuronal cell identity and glioblastoma subtypes, participating in neurodevelopmental diseases.24 However, it is obscure that whether Zbtb18 participates the hepatic glucolipid metabolism.
