Guanylyl cyclase C (GCC) are transmembrane protein receptors that are expressed on the intestinal epithelial CRC cells, with a high affinity for anti-Guanylate Cyclase (Anti-GCC) mAb, which upon binding can enhance cellular uptake of PSs in CRC (Simelane et al., 2021).
