To address the frequency and distribution of CD11c+ B cells in relation to aging and atherosclerosis, the frequency of CD11c+ B cells in the peritoneal cavity (PerC), blood, spleen, bone marrow (BM), and aorta was quantified in chow-fed ApoE−/− mice at 50 and 100 weeks of age.
