CYP3A5 and acute kidney injury: Expressers of CYP3A5 *1 showed a clinical trend towards lower rates of AKI compared to non-expressers during the inpatient stay (7.7% vs. 25%; p = 0.06); however, rates of AKI over the entire period of this study does not differ by CYP3A5 genotype (100% vs. 91.2%; p = 0.28).
