The inflammatory cascade in psoriasis is driven by plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) and myeloid dendritic cells (mDCs), leading to the production of various inflammatory mediators, including tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukins (IL)-12, IL-17, IL-22, IL-23, and interferon (IFN)-γ [13].
