TNF and Crohn disease: It has been reported that a concomitant elementary diet is capable of decreasing the loss of response to infliximab or adalimumab (which are the most used anti-TNF-α drugs) in patients with Crohn’s disease [9,10]; nevertheless, no controlled studies have been designed to analyze nutrient intake or nutrient blood values as possible factors linked to the lack of response to the anti-TNF-α biological therapy.
