USF1 and rickets: Of note, PTGS2, the only hub gene controlled by both microRNA and TFs, has the highest (33) connectivity degree and, thus, represents a potential link in the clinical development of depression and hypovitaminosis D. Of the nine TFs, TFAP2A is predicted to concomitantly regulate three hub genes (PTGS2, PECAM1, and HCK), while the rest (ETS1, NFKB1, TCF3, STAT3, RELA, USF1, NFKB2, and CTCF) might each regulate two of the hub genes.
