Very recently Fang and colleagues reported that combined treatment of carbonic anhydrase 9 (CA9)-targeted CAR-T cells with an oncolytic adenovirus carrying the chemokine (CC motif) ligand 5 (CCL5), cytokine interleukin-12 (IL12) induced moderate inhibition of xenografted tumor in nude mice and increased infiltration of CD45+CD3+ T cells and prolongation of mouse survival in immunocompetent mice [64].
