A study in miR-146b-knockout mice showed that they developed AML or B-cell lymphoma, probably due to the alteration of the NF-kB pathway by inhibiting TNF receptor-associated factor 6 (TRAF6) and interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 1 (IRAK1) [78]. The gene discussed is IRAK1; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
