The findings of our research indicate that—in addition to the number of lymph node tumor invasions, number and location of metastases, treatment-induced anemia and proteinuria—low values of CypA, both at baseline and after one month of treatment with bevacizumab and chemotherapy in metastatic CRC patients, represent an independent prognostic factor for OS and are correlated with a better prognosis. The gene discussed is PPIA; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
