UGT1A1 and urinary bladder carcinoma: In the present study, we comprehensively assessed the expression levels and interindividual variability of the three types of UGT1A transcripts (v1, v2, and v3) in human tissues and their potential deregulation in cancers using RNA-seq datasets with large cohorts of normal tissues or paired normal and tumor tissues from patients with six different cancer types (liver, kidney, esophagus, stomach, colon, and bladder cancer).
