In terms of prognosis, a recent study demonstrated that tumors with BRAF-like profiles positively correlate with larger tumors, higher initial tumor stage, and presence of lateral neck metastasis, compared with the RAS-like profile tumors and non-BRAF/non-RAS-like tumors which included PAX8::PPARG fusion and DICER1, EIF11AX, PTEN, and IDH1 mutations [100].
