PGR and breast carcinoma: They demonstrated a protective effect of this kind of diet in post-menopausal women (OR 0.57, 95% CI 0.41–0.80, p < 0.001) and, especially in this population, a protective effect against ER-negative (OR 0.63, 95% CI 0.37–0.94, p = 0.003) and ER- and PgR-negative breast cancer subtypes (OR 0.64, 95% CI 0.41–0.93, p = 0.012).
