EEF1A2 and cancer: Tn and STn neo- or over-expression has been reported in various epithelial- and non-epithelial-derived cancers, including colon, breast, skin, lung, pancreas [12], cervical, gastric, prostate, bladder, endometrial [13], and squamous esophageal cancers [14], and are associated with an unfavorable prognosis in cancer patients.
