Both the colony formation assay and CCK8 assay demonstrated that overexpression of YBX1 could promote the proliferation of GBM cells and knockdown of NLGN3 could inhibit GBM cell proliferation; moreover, this inhibitory effect could be rescued by overexpression of YBX1 (Supplementary Fig. S3F-H).
