The reported risk score model consists of 16 lipid metabolism-related genes that have been previously investigated in solid cancers, with the exception of ARSK. Several of these genes have shown promise as potential prognostic biomarkers in cancer, such as FAMA120B in ovarian cancer [27], ARSJ in colorectal cancer, and PTDSS2 in hepatocellular carcinoma [28, 29]. This evidence concerns the gene ARSK and hepatocellular carcinoma.
