The transcription factor FoxM1 is a critical proliferation-associated transcription factor that is widely spatiotemporally expressed during the cell cycle [173], and FOXM1, FOXC2 and FOXQ1 have been reported to be overexpressed and involved in the occurrence of EMT and chemoresistance in NPC [174, 175]. This evidence concerns the gene FOXQ1 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
