APOE and cerebrovascular disorder: Our findings showed that 20 (VEGFA,GJB2, COL5A1, SDHB, ZNT10,SOD2, JAK2, APOE, ALDOA, VCAM1, AKT1, APP, PSEN1, NEDD4, PRKN, VKORC1,FLNA, HMGB1, REL, RELA) of the 31 proteins that we identified as potentiallyrelated to VCI was already linked to VCI, “vascular dementia,”or “cerebrovascular disease.” Additionally, despitethe fact that nine of the proteins had connections to CD and CVD,they were not directly connected to VCI.
