Despite the absence of any association between the G554A and A-42G genetic variations and the risk of PCOS, we found that these two SNPs were significantly associated with E2, LH, FSH, LH/FSH ratio, HDL-C, LDL-C, TC, 2 h-Glu, and apoB levels and the apoB/apoA1 ratio in patients with PCOS. Here, PLOD1 is linked to polycystic ovary syndrome.
