We further determined the correlation between these upregulated USPs and the prognosis of patients with GC using the Kaplan-Meier Plotter database and found that the higher expression of five USPs (USP5, USP13, USP10, USP21, and USP35) were closely associated with shorter OS and poorer prognosis in patients with GC (Supplementary Fig. S2). The gene discussed is USP21; the disease is gastric cancer.
