When specifically examining the correlations between the identified group of persistently elevated cytokines and chemokines at UD+1 and the pretreatment immunological parameters at T0, we found that the CD4 nadir during acute HIV infection correlated inversely with plasma concentrations of CXCL11 and CXCL10 at UD+1 (Figure 4C). Here, CXCL11 is linked to HIV infectious disease.
