CALD1 and neoplasm: The identified direct or indirect protein targets, including stathmin, kinesin, caldesmon, clathrin, CRABP2, nucleophosmin, lamin-B1, nesprin-1, CRK II, and others, play a key role in the functioning of tumor cells and are closely associated with mechanisms of the development and regulation of mitosis, tumor cell proliferation, cell migration, and tumor invasion, and control of programmed death.
