To further explore the effect of iNKT cells on macrophage subsets in chlamydial infection, we examined the amount of TNF-α protein in the macrophage subpopulations (AM, IM, and Mo/Mφ) of WT and iNKT KO mice on day 7 post-infection by intracellular cytokine staining. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and chlamydia trachomatis infectious disease.
