Recent studies showed that PCa cells lacking retinoblastoma protein 1 (RB1) were more sensitive to ferroptosis, and RB1 deletion upregulated downstream TF-encoding E2Fs, modulated ACSL4 expression, enriched ACSL4-dependent arachidonic acid phospholipid, and promoted ferroptosis [22]. This evidence concerns the gene TF and posterior cortical atrophy.
