The following classes of antidiabetic drugs were used to start or intensify hyperglycaemia treatment: biguanides in 17 patients, GLP-1 receptor agonist in 3 patients, DPP-4 inhibitors in 7 patients, SGLT2 inhibitors in 1 patient, rapid acting insulin in 4 patients, and long-acting insulin in 4 patients.
