This study suggests that the intestinal insulin pathway exacerbate colitis during the inflammatory phase; EZH2 is one of the key downstream mechanisms in the regulation of intestinal immunity by insulin pathway; CD4+TRM shows a key role in the induction of chronic inflammation and were regulated by insulin pathway and EZH2; the diminished anti-tumor efficacy of EZH2 inhibition therapy in vivo may be due to its suppressive effects on TRM. This evidence concerns the gene INS and colitis.
