INS and type 1 diabetes mellitus: The third part of survey regarding the level of confidence in handling has highlighted the most evident differences between the two groups: participants that attended the trainings showed a greater self-confidence in handling a student with T1D both at school and in extracurricular activities (like school trips) and they reported feeling more confident in supporting students with T1D both with their daily needs (i.e., insulin administration before meals) and during emergencies (i.e., hypoglycaemic events).
