The hepatoprotective effect on NAFLD is improving by increasing the levels of ALT, AST, TC, TG, HDL-C, and LDL-C, decreasing protein expressions of IL-6, MAPK1, Caspase 3, p53, and VEGFA, and increasing protein expression of AKT1. Here, MAPK1 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
