As shown in Table 3, for every 10 percent increase in MHR was positively correlated with endothelial dysfunction in unadjusted model (model 1) (crude odds ratio 1.35, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.08-1.70), after adjusting for sex, age, BMI, disease course, hypertension, smoking, and drinking (OR 1.34, CI 1.04-1.73), as well as further adjustment for HbA1c, HOMA-IR, C-reactive protein, and TG (OR 1.35, 95% CI 1.02-1.77). Here, CRP is linked to endothelial dysfunction.
