In this report, we demonstrate that overexpression of Reg-2 in human glioblastoma cell lines down-regulates the level of several transcripts involved in the regulation of cell cycle progression such as CCND1, CCNE1, CCNE2, CCNA2, CCNB1, CCNB2, PLK1, and AURKA. By RIP we have confirmed that this regulation takes place through the direct interaction of Reg-2 with investigated transcripts. Here, CCNA2 is linked to glioblastoma.
