Differential proteins with higher levels in the glaucoma groups included apolipoproteins (APOA1, APOA2, APOA4, APOE, APOH), complement proteins (C1R, C2, C4A/C4B, C5, C6, C8A, C9, CFB, CFI) and inflammatory protein (SERPINA1, SERPINF2, CD14, GC, ITIH4). By contrast, proteins with lower expression levels included IGFBP4, IGFBP6, TGFB2 and ANXA1, which were mainly involved in cellular movement and development. This evidence concerns the gene C1R and glaucoma.
