Our findings highlight the essential neurogenic effects of angpt1 by mean of notch1 and wnt pathways and its putative receptor itgb1b that may support the concept of angiopoietin-based treatments for clinical therapeutics in neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, and traumatic brain injuries (Zlokovic, 2011; Venkat et al., 2021). Here, ANGPT1 is linked to early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
